Liz Disler and how it all started

Elizabeth Disler started the Liz Disler sustainable fashion range last year.
Her vision is that the environment and people live in harmony.Therefore this inspired her to design a range that lessons theimpact on the environment, by using luxurious fabrics that are either sustainable and/or organic.

The range is made from fabric that uses no chemicals in the growing of the fibre and the clothing production is made locally. The fabricused in the range comes from carbon neutral businesses. Some pieces are undyed and left natural. All of these components gives your skin and body the benefit of breathing free in the garment, freedom from the toxins and synthetic fertilisers (chemicals) that are inside the fibres from conventional growing methods.

Sleeping time is a time when we are in one of our most relaxed states, where we are absorbing energy, so we thought, what a better time to wear natural clothing than when you are sleeping? So we created the ‘Forever And A Day’ sleep and loungewear range. A range that is natural and allows your skin to rejuvenate and breath freely, giving your body health.

Liz Disler is also working alongside other designers and fashion industry experts to create a sustainable fashion industry code of practice, to put standards in place, so that we can have goals and progress in the area of the environment and fashion.
